Somewhere in a dry riverbed lies a downed cottonwood tree. Uprooted when a flash flood was so powerful it toppled the giant tree. Sometimes a piece of wood is so special I can’t wait to get it back to the shop. This burl was just waiting to be transformed to a soft glowing sculpture.
